"Biblical Fundamentalism" conference, Christ Baptist Church (Muntinlupa), May 10-12, 2006

The Christ Baptist Church (in Soldiers Hill, Muntinlupa), under the leadership of Ptr. Joey Conui, organized the conference attended by several hundred pastors, church workers and Bible school students. Main speakers in the conference were Dr. Ed Laurena of Christian Baptist Church (San Pedro, Laguna) and three US pastors.

During the Thursday afternoon schedule, Atty Gerry T. Galacio presented a Powerpoint lecture on "Freedom of Religion under the 1987 Constitution." He also discussed practical legal issues affecting pastors and churches.

Youth Quest 2006 (Bethany Makati), May 9-11

Bethany Baptist Church, under the leadership of Ptr. Gerry Nable and Youth Director Raul Ruiz Sr., sponsored the three-day youth conference which was attended by more than 500 youths from 37 churches from Metro Manila and the provinces.
